Elizabethtown Church of the Brethren is seeking a Church Music Coordinator (part-time). This is a flexible position that includes working with the pastoral team to plan musical support for 10:30 AM Sunday morning blended worship services and Christmas Eve Service and occasional other services. This position will be responsible for developing, rehearsing and directing a variety of vocal and instrumental ensembles for supporting the worship experience. Proficiency on piano/keyboard preferred. Candidates should have experience as a church musician, working knowledge of hymns and service music, and familiarity with a broad range of music styles. Elizabethtown Church of the Brethren is seeking an Organist/Keyboardist (part-time). This is a flexible position that includes playing for 10:30 AM Sunday morning worship services and Christmas Eve Service and occasional services. The congregation embraces a “blended” service with a variety of music genres. This position will accompany ensembles and soloists during Sunday morning services and for rehearsals. Proficiency on pipe organ required and proficiency with piano/keyboard desirable. We have an excellent three manual, 27 rank Reuter/Walker pipe organ with 41 digitally reproduced stops. Candidates should have experience as a church musician, a working knowledge of hymns and service music, and familiarity with a broad range of music styles. St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, 10 Delp Road, Lancaster, PA is seeking a P/T 20-24 hrs/wk Director of Music - Traditional Service. Potential growth into F/T position. Responsibilities include all aspects of the music program - weekly worship music, musical performance groups, annual church musical and the concert series. A degree in church music, music education or applied music that provides musical skills and people skills to work with individuals and groups of all ages. A solid background required in church history, hymnody, choral music and a willingness to develop knowledge of the Lutheran Liturgies. High level of comfort with electronic media and computer skills. Ebenezer Evangelical Congregational Church in Brownstown, PA is looking for an Organist, Pianist or Keyboard player to assist with our Sunday Services. A Music degree is not required, but the applicant should be trained and proficient in music.  Covenant United Methodist Church in Lancaster is seeking an Organist/Accompanist to inspire worship through music on Sunday mornings and for special services throughout the year. Formal music education and strong skills in playing the organ as well as the piano are desired along with experience in accompanying choral groups and also vocal and instrumental soloists. The musician should be a committed Christian who is accomplished in playing hymns and has a repertoire of sacred music for preludes and postludes. The Organist/Accompanist will work with the Director of Music to coordinate music appropriate for each service and to rehearse weekly on the piano with the Chancel Choir and/or soloists or ensembles. Currently the Sunday morning service is at 10:30 A.M. and is blended in nature with the organ and choir offering the more traditional music. 

Covenant Church has a tradition of excellence in organ music. The church’s 1926 Casavant pipe organ is one of a handful of historically significant and tonally unaltered instruments in Central Pennsylvania. It contains over 2500 original and 600 tastefully augmented pipes playable from 5 divisions (one floating) on a 3-manual and pedal draw knob console. The tonal resources in the acoustically friendly sanctuary are ideally suited to not only solo performance but also inspired congregational singing. Candidates must be able to work Wednesday nights from September through May, and Sunday mornings year-round. Saint John’s UCC, Schuylkill Haven is continuing to search for qualified applicants to fill the position of Organist & Accompanist as well as potentially Director of Music. Responsibilities include playing for one Sunday worship service as well as other seasonal services, accompanying the Chancel Choir including a weekly rehearsal, and assisting with the handbell choir. St. Paul Lutheran Church in Millersville is seeking a Part-time Organist to provide musical leadership to worship services and other church functions by using the organ to lift the congregation in musical praise of God. St. John’s (Hains) UCC, Wernersville, PA. We are looking to hire four choir section leaders (Soprano, Alto, Tenor, and Bass) on a part time basis. Our aim is for this group to become the core of our newly developing choir after being absent for over a year. Duties will include a Wednesday night rehearsal and one Sunday morning worship service, both usually run about an hour. Music will mostly be hymns and hymn arrangements. The schedule now will be one Sunday a month for June, July, and August. Then it will most likely be every Sunday starting in September. The church is paying $50 per person per session. So for a Wednesday rehearsal and Sunday performance it would be $100. St. John Lutheran Church in York is in need of a temporary organist for the 10:00 liturgical service while they look to fill this position with a permanent organist and choir director. They do not wish to fill this position in this COVID environment but need a temporary/substitute organist. Duties would be to play for this service only. Bethany UMC, Red Lion, PA – Organist - Bethany is currently looking for a spiritually mature Christian to play the organ for Sunday morning worship. This includes both 8:00am and 10:30am Traditional Services – the 8:00am Service has been paused for now because of COVID-19. General responsibilities include playing for Sunday Morning Worship as well as Wednesday evening choir practice from 6:30 – 7:30 pm and other special services. The organist is also responsible to select and provide appropriate music for the Prelude, Postlude and Offertory as well as rehearse with any soloists, choral groups or instrumentalists as needed. P.
